Studio Portrait Session · Taylor Ashley

So there's this girl.  Well, I guess I can't really call her a girl anymore since she's basically all grown up.  Anyways, I've been watching her grow from a goofy little baby to an extremely gorgeous young woman.  My amazing cousin, Taylor, blew me away at her most recent portrait session.  It's hard to believe that almost 18 years have gone by since she came into the world and I am suddenly feeling very old.

Taylor was the very first subject I ever photographed and I usually shoot her once or twice a year.  Every time we get together it's pure awesomeness.  It's been incredible watching her transformation.

Every session I’ve done with Taylor has been outdoors, so this time I wanted to change it up a bit.  So, I decided to bring her into the studio that I use for all of my indoor headshot and portrait sessions.  We planned a few different looks for her, and arranged for her to have a hair & makeup artist. For wardrobe options, we raided Victoria’s Secret website and also brought some awesome items from Taylor’s personal collection.

The goal of this session was to bring out  Taylor’s mature side along with her fun and crazy side.  We started the session by doing some photo booth style shots on the blue background with the studio’s custom ring light.  We then switched it up to natural beauty to showcase her amazing features.  The studio session was wrapped up with some fashion editorial style shots and Taylor’s amazingly cute hippie outfit.

To make this session even more of blast, my awesome friend Tam Vu of Snap Photography was there to capture all of the behind the scene footage. That awesome video will be coming soon.

Overall, Taylor rocked her studio session!  Check out a small preview of her amazing images below and be sure to leave some love at the bottom.
